Shipping & Returns

Thank you so much for shopping with Crafty Pleasures! Every order is made with care right here in my studio in Whitby, Ontario, and I want to make sure it arrives safely and with a smile.

Order Processing Time

As many items are made to order, please allow 5–7 business days for your order to be crafted and prepared for shipment. Custom and personalized orders may take a little longer — I'll always keep you posted! You will receive a shipping notification with tracking information (where available) once your order is on its way.

Shipping within Canada

All Canadian orders are shipped via Canada Post. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order. I do my best to keep shipping costs reasonable for my fellow Canadians!

Local Pickup — Whitby, Ontario

If you are local to the Whitby area, you are welcome to select Local Pickup at checkout to waive shipping fees entirely. I will reach out by email to arrange a convenient pickup time once your order is ready.

Shipping to the United States

I am so happy to ship my creations to customers in the United States! Please take a moment to read the information below so there are no surprises.

Shipping Services

U.S. orders are shipped via Canada Post using one of two services depending on the size of your order:

  • Small Packet USA – Air for small, lightweight items. Please note this service does not include tracking.
  • Expedited Parcel – USA for larger items. This service includes full tracking and $100 insurance coverage.

Estimated delivery times to most U.S. destinations are 5–8 business days from the date of shipment, depending on your location and the service used. Please note these are estimates and actual delivery times may vary.

All prices on this website are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD).

A Note on Customs, Duties, and Import Fees

Crafty Pleasures ships from Canada. As a result, your order crosses an international border and may be subject to customs processing by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

The good news: as of February 2026, handcrafted Canadian goods that comply with the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) are exempt from the current U.S. import tariffs. My products qualify for this exemption.

However, please be aware that small customs processing or handling fees may still be charged by the carrier upon delivery. These fees are set by U.S. Customs — not by me — and I have no control over them. The customer is solely responsible for paying any such fees. Crafty Pleasures cannot predict the exact amount, and these charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

Please note: Trade policies are subject to change at any time. While every effort is made to keep this information current, Crafty Pleasures cannot be held responsible for any changes in U.S. customs regulations that occur after your order is placed.

If you have questions about potential customs fees, I recommend contacting U.S. Customs and Border Protection directly at cbp.gov.

Returns & Refunds

All Sales Are Final

Because every item at Crafty Pleasures is made to order specifically for you, all sales are final and non-refundable. This includes both personalized and non-personalized items.

I take great care in creating each piece, and I want you to absolutely love what you receive!

Damaged or Defective Items

If your item arrives damaged during shipping or there is an error on my part, please contact me within 7 days of delivery with a photo. I will make it right — I promise! I may offer a replacement, repair, or store credit depending on the situation.

Order Errors

Please double-check all personalization details (names, dates, spelling) before placing your order. Once production begins, changes cannot be made. If there is an error on my part in creating your order, I will gladly remake it at no charge.

Refused International Deliveries

If a U.S. customer refuses to accept a package due to customs fees, and the package is returned to me, any return shipping costs and fees incurred will be deducted from any refund. I always encourage customers to reach out to me first if there is any concern — I am here to help!
